Random thoughts. The stage right 1/4" in/outs will be used for both instrument sends to the mixer;
3 or 4 sets of speaker returns (to amps located on stage) for
The stage right XLR will mostly be used to mic the orchestra which is located
in the audience, stage right side.
The patch panel will allow us to reroute signal to either the main mixing
console in the house during full musicals. Or, run signal to a smaller board in
the booth for use during smaller shows that don't require in house mixing
(playback of CDs for dance concerts and such.) The mixing console will be used for various sized shows. Some shows will require more in the area of playback and effects. Therefore, we should have two portable racks (on wheels) that can be linked together as needed. This second rack should allow for effective use of inserts. Perhaps a patch panel will be needed.
