Our sliding compound miter chop saw. We custom built this table. The table is on wheels and is built 1" narrower then all the doors leading to the theater. It is also shorter then the elevator is deep. choptab1.jpg (22268 bytes)

This hole is where a leg will sit. Under the hole is a castor block, then a caster. This method allows the legs from the upper lever to rest directly on the castor. The castor is able to support both the upper and lower levels with out one taking the weight of the other. casleg.jpg (20078 bytes)
Two Students are attaching a 4x4 leg into a 4x8 platform. The leg passes through the cover of the platform. This will allow us to use the top of the 4x4 to support a railing. The legs are bolted using 3/8" machine bolts with two washers and a nut. The leg is bolted from two directions. platleg.jpg (25373 bytes)
