| Side view of the rack, with the doors open. Even with the
doors closed, the mixing board on top won't allow the rolling cart to fit
through some of the doors it will need to pass to get to a secured closet. |
  |
| Here, I've shown how the table top tilts back. In this
position, the width shown here is only 30". Just fine to fit through all
needed doors. The rack will have a multi-disconnect for the cabling to the
amp rack in the booth. |
  |
| The front doors will fold all the around to the sides of the
cart. Revealing the equipment inside. The upper area is about 12-14" deep.
The lower area is over 24" deep. We'll have to arrange any deep equipment to
be near the bottom. |
  |
| I have space for three sets of rack rails. On the right
side, I have another 7" in which I can store slim tool boxes/equipment
cases. The rack will contain some of the following: Wireless systems, EQs,
one power amp, patch panels, multi disconnect, effects unit, one set of
small speakers, battery back up, and a few other items. |
  |
| The rear will also have doors, as shown. Once I have stocked
the rack with equipment, I can figure out how much extra storage room I'll
have. The lowest area could even store a couple of mic stands. |
