Texas Tech is one of only two universities in the state to offer all the traditional theatre arts degrees: THEATRE ARTS, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Master of Arts, and Master of Fine Arts and DANCE, Bachelor of Art. The department also participates in the Doctor of Philosophy degree in FINE ARTS with an option in Theatre Arts. This diverse educational composition fosters an atmosphere of collaborative growth and development. Students pursue a core curriculum that includes training in the areas of design, acting, directing, dance, stage management, history, and playwriting.
