As a part of the professional School of Arts and Communication, our program involves majors, faculty, and the campus community in creative learning expieriences, providing opportunities for students to learn, practice, and perform. Students can major in Theatre/Technical Design as well as Acting/Directing. With five mainstage productions per year, including one student-directed production and a major dance performance, theatre at PLU brings a diverse and expanding audience to its campus and introduces students to the business of theatre arts and community outreach. Students locate thier strengths as individuals, and cultivate talents as professional actors or theatre producers. Many students find in the Theatre program at PLU, the world is their oyster!
