FACILITIES
Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts
This is a 650-seat combination Proscenium/Thrust Theater that includes
a computerized lighting system, infrared and wireless sound systems,
and full fly loft. This full-time professionally staffed theater also
serves as a rental facility. Internships and paid student positions are
available on non-departmental productions.
Schaeberle Studio Theater
This is a 72-seat flexible Black Box Theatre that features a preset
lighting system, full grid SFX record and playback. It serves as the
Department's principle location for rehearsal, as well as acting and
performance labs.
Studios, Shops, and Classrooms
Including TV studios, our spaces are fully equipped for the
construction and painting of scenery and costumes and for the study of
painting and drawing, makeup, drafting, photography, music, performance
and lecture courses.
