Table Saw #2

The table saw is one of the largest power tools used in the scene shop. It is never to be used with out proper supervision and proper safety practices.

This is a Delta 12" Table saw outfitted with a Beismeyer(sp?) rip fence and blade guard. .In this photo, it is the up position to show the blade. This is one of the best blade guards that I've ever worked with. When the guard is down, the wood lifts it as it passes underneath.murr103.TIF (943768 bytes)
IT WON'T KEEP YOUR HANDS FROM SLIDING UNDERNEATH IT! IT'S THERE TO REMIND YOU TO KEEP YOUR HANDS AWAY FROM THE BLADE!murr102.TIF (943768 bytes)
Remember to always wear safety goggles and hearing protection!murr089.TIF (943768 bytes)
Move the fence over until the line is on the measurement you need.fencetape.jpg (35612 bytes)
Push down on the locking handle to hold the fence in place.fencelock.jpg (29729 bytes)
Here you can see all the controls of the table saw. From left to right:
  1. Main power switch. Turn off when changing the blade.

  2. The Bevel Adjustment Wheel.

  3. The Cutting Height Wheel.

  4. Power Switch.
